Wrexham is a photographer delight with amazing Victorian architecture and lush green countryside. Wrexham has a lot more to offer than people think whether you just stroll around the city taking pictures of old buildings or join in an event theirs always something going on.

One of my favourite landmarks at St Gile’s Church which is stunning in design but the surrounding area is beautiful as well. Another area for a nice walk is the Alyn Waters Country Park with gorgeous landscapes and wildlife.

Erddig Hall has perhaps the most pristine gardens in the UK! The property itself is a Victorian mansion and a historic marvel. The café on site is also great as well.

The old markets are bustling especially at the weekends, and theirs plenty of opportunities to take candid shots.

Wrexham’s charm is hidden and a bit mysterious with the old town meeting a new modern Wrexham.

Recently I worked with James producing social media content and headshot photography. The event took place around Chester where I used multiple camera angles to ensure every aspect of the filming was caught correctly.

The video helped showcase their business to a wider audience which helped their brand take off.

Featured Project 2: Sam Bryony Payne

I had the pleasure of filming Sam’s wedding video which was a fantastic day. I kept using different angles to capture Sam walking down the aisle and capture the groom's reaction. I also took wide-angle shots of the venue.

I also used slow-motion techniques to capture the emotional and key moments. All in all, it was a great day all round.

Photography Tips: Capturing the Perfect Event

If you're looking to improve in event photography firstly make sure you're aware of your surroundings. Play around with angles and pay attention to the most important moments that tell the story.

In terms of your equipment play around with the lighting setup- The best shots can be the ones you least expect. Once I did a job in Wrexham and I found my best shots were of the audience in the gig rather than the band. The passion and excitement sometimes create photos that are full of emotion.

I have a lot of experience in photography and videography. Over the years I’ve run projects on weddings, corporate events, promotional videos and social promotions. I have an extensive range of projects in my portfolio.

How long does it take to receive the final photos or video?

This all depends on the complexity of the projects. The majority of photography projects take around 2-3 weeks. Videography projects can take up to 4-6 weeks to deliver a final edited video.

Do you provide edited photos and videos?

I do all the editing professionally for maximum quality. This includes all colour correction, cropping, and sharp touch-ups, with extensive editing before final production.
